Indeed, it's very depressing - especially so early as 50 - and he's going to be greatly missed.

Memento mori, remember you too will die and you never know when it'll be. Bernie Mac is the 3 famous person to die youngish in the past month or two. Tony Snow was only about 53, Tim Russert wasn't much older.

Truest thing I've read here. More important than how well he did or didn't make his living... he was a nice guy... well liked by friends and co-workers, loved by his family. Sad.

Wow...I can't say I was a huge fan, but I know he made a lot of people, including my friends, very happy. Carlin, Russert, Snow, and now Mac...geez...this is getting crazy.

Pneumonia which is such a crap way to die. Seems like coroners just say pneumonia full stop and that's the end of that WTF where did the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing pneumonia come from? HE doesn't live at the north pole FFS. D:
